    Great product, great bundle

Posted by Eze on 16th Dec 2023

Served as a fantastic all-in-one electronics workbench for my Electrical Engineering degree. Got it during COVID lockdowns during my 3rd year in college, where we were barred from going to our labs, and the AD2 served me greatly to keep studying electrical circuit design with little interruption. Did mostly analog circuits with low frequency filtering, so I did not test its high frequency capabilities. The BNC adapter board is a must-have! Fantastic for students and hobbyists.

very good product but hight cost of student

Posted by H.Aoshima Open University Student of Japan on 4th Jan 2023

I had previously learned about this product through embedded development and considered purchasing it, but due to the depreciation of the yen, it was more expensive than before and I considered it an investment.

    Great all in one tool

Posted by Doug on 23rd Oct 2019

By far the best feature of the AD2 is that it combines two differential oscilloscope channels, a function generator, and a small voltage supply in one tiny package. The fact that I can read the scope output and control the voltage supply and function generator from my laptop rather than reading a tiny screen and fiddling with knobs is a bonus. The AD2's size has allowed me to take my circuits projects anywhere. I can build and test circuits anywhere I can take my laptop and this has proved incredibly convenient to me as an undergraduate student. On the topic of being an undergraduate student, the fact that I could get the AD2 for a few hundred AUD rather than an oscilloscope, function generator and power supply separately has saved me heaps of money. Another perk is that the AD2 works easily as soon as you plug it into your laptop. The software is easy to use and instantly recognises the scope. It works out of the box! The only downsides to the AD2 is its limited voltage capability. The function generator can only output 2V signals, the power supply is limited to +/- 5V (which is often not enough for me), and the oscilloscope can only measure up to 25V. This is an excellent low voltage tool.

This is a good scope, i do not have to go to the device manager and find for the COM number when setting up. It is also portable which i personally like for project as a student.
